Tournament Schedule & Information

Please know that the home team is designated by the team with the best seed. The home teams  are responsible for the down markers. The Visiting teams, lowest seed of both teams, will have the chains. Please make sure your parents are ready to go and in place prior to the start of the game. The ref’s will handle the game clock throughout our playoff’s. This will allow for consistency in handling.

As you get your player participation cards, you will be asked to confirm that the names and numbers are correct for each player. Please review the cards closely as we want to announce each player during the game.

After each game, the losing coach will be responsible for equipment turn in. Make sure you bring your team to the designated spot for equipment pick up. We will use the  player participation sheets for check in purposes. It is your responsibility to collect all equipment from players that quit prior to your playoff games. Bring this equipment with you for proper check in. All missing equipment will be billed to the responsible parent.

Remove all decals, mouth pieces and chin straps from the helmets when your season comes to an end. You will not be allowed to take the equipment home to bring back later. If your team loses, we will follow the below order of presentation.

ORDER OF PRESENTATION:
At the conclusion of the game:
·Receive your trophy’s from a Board member.
·Present your trophy’s to your players.
·Walk your team to the designated check in spot.
·Check your equipment in with the on duty board member.
·Turn in your coaches bag, balls, box and dummies.
·Pick up your sponsor plaque to deliver to your sponsor.
·Let the on duty board member know if you plan to coach again next year. If yes, which league?
·Remind your parents about Youth Day at IU on 10/29/2011 where IU plays Northwestern!!!!! We want as many players as possible running through the tunnel at the beginning of the game!
·Remind your parents about the championship game on 10/30/2011.  We would like each player to get an autograph picture from  IU football players.

If your team wins, you will stick around to cheer on the losing team as they receive their trophy’s.  Afterwards, you will schedule your next practice with your team.  The practice schedule continues according to our policy (No more than 3 events a week).  Good luck to each team
